Had a very intentional morning walk with the babie Had a very intentional morning walk with the babies in town and a relaxing evening walk enveloped by woods. Took in the beauty around me and snapped non-baby photos! 📸 Morning walks always involve a stop at a bakery, and often the market! Saturday is a big market day, and this quiet town comes alive and is the place to be! 🥦🥐 Like many small French cities, Épinal is filled with grand houses left by wealthy industrialists at one time or another. Many had fallen into ruins but now in the revival. I love walking around cities that has such sense of history. 🇻🇦
Since the twins arrival, I’ve turned into one of Since the twins arrival, I’ve turned into one of those parents that replaced all travel and food photos with baby photos. 😅 I’ve been focusing on snapping more non-baby photos during our summer in France. But honestly, traveling with twin babies is not a vacation. 🙅🏻‍♀️ We still go to the same 5 places - park, grocery store, market, cafe, bakery - except in a different country. 😅 Tonight, on a rare night out, we snapped a few photos of our tired selves, grateful for long evening lights and beautiful summer nights! 🏙
Traveling with 8 months old twins is not a vacatio Traveling with 8 months old twins is not a vacation, if anything, it’s more work than being at home. The days are incredibly long and we have little break . 😵‍💫 Yet there have been many sweet moments to see these babies discover the world. Overall, still worth it, and I’m working to appreciate the positives. 🗺 One major advantage of summer in France is the sun doesn’t set until 10pm. We can actually enjoy daylight hours after putting the kids to bed! 🌅 Evening walks in a quiet medieval town isn’t to be taken for granted. I will miss these moments of solitude when we are back in Taichung in September. Gratitude for beauty amidst chaos. 🙏
Stealing a bit of freedom for a bowl of sesame noo Stealing a bit of freedom for a bowl of sesame noodle. Adventures look a tad different as a twin mom. But appreciating life’s simple pleasures remains the same. Also, stopping at a roadside noodle stall is one of the most Taiwanese activités. 🍜

I’ve wanted to stay at a @kimpton hotel for ages I’ve wanted to stay at a @kimpton hotel for ages and finally had a chance this week to stay at @kimptondaanhotel with my @ihghotels reward nights! 🏨 We are in Taipei again to get the twins’ French passport. This time, we are tackling two nights of stay. Baby steps to baby travel! 🇫🇷 A stay at a design hotel looks much differently with twins. Beautiful designs have been over taken by cribs and bottles. Grateful for the impeccable service at @kimptondaanhotel that makes the stay easier. 🙏
It was a cold day in Taipei, but a lovely night sp It was a cold day in Taipei, but a lovely night spent in a luxurious temp controlled room at @hoteleclat_taipei booked with my @hyatt reward night. 🏨 Our first overnight stay with the twins was a relative success! Tho luxury travel takes on a different definition when we were woken up every 3-4 hours. Hope the soundproofing was good! 😆 Like all things, the first step is the hardest. Now I feel more confident to take the boys out more often, and I’m hopeful to finally begin traveling more again! 🤞🏼 One thing for sure, we haven’t stopped going to fancy dessert bars (this time at @yu_chocolatier)despite now walking around the city with our boat of double stroller! #priorities 😋
First week of 2022 under our belts. My days are cu First week of 2022 under our belts. My days are currently on the constant rotation of feeding, changing, and playing with babies. This shot was taking in between documenting the twins’ weekly growth! 📸 Making a concerted effort to resume seeking unique experiences after a whole year of much waiting in 2021. At the very least, paying more attention to the beauty around me. 🌇
